Clear News Perspective

Editorial policy

Clear News Perspective aims to explain news-reading choices accurately and plainly. We distinguish established information from interpretation, make uncertainty visible and correct material errors when they are brought to our attention.

Accuracy and clarity

We check names, wording and factual details before publication, and take care not to overstate what an example can show. When a point depends on a particular report or context, we say so. Our articles offer reading tools, not a substitute for checking the original source.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for reader value and fit with our subject. A partnership does not buy an editorial conclusion, a favourable assessment or control over independent coverage. We do not present a partner's claims as independently verified findings.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error or a passage that could mislead, contact us through the Contact page and identify the article and passage. We review correction requests, update material errors and make the nature of a meaningful correction clear to readers.

Partners and illustrations

Paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when an image is AI-generated, we identify it as such where it appears.
